VN Guesthouse
We had looked at a number of options before finally choosing ‘VN Guesthouse’ (map). It is situated right on the River Kwai so it was a perfect place to spend a relaxing weekend. On arrival, we checked in at the reception/restaurant that is situated at the entrance. We were then led to our room which we were delighted to discover was literally right on the river.

The room itself was basic, as expected for the price, but the location was excellent. It offered a fantastic view over the River Kwai. It was quiet but only a 5 minute walk to the main tourist street where you will find numerous bars and restaurants.
The WiFi was frustrating as we had a perfect connection whilst sat outside but barely any connection in the room. Still, the location of the property more than made up for this.
If you require anything for your room, you will have to ask. There is a notice in the room saying that no staff will enter your room during your stay.
