Budget Travel in Czech Republic

Following the fall of communism in 1989 and the Velvet Divorce of 1993 (where the country separated from Slovakia), the Czech Republic has become one of Europe’s must-visit travel destinations. The majority of the country’s visitors head to Prague. The city, which was completely undamaged in WWII, is a journey back in time. Its medieval old town centre is truly one of the most wonderful sights of European cities. Also recommended is a visit to Brno where stunning architecture can be found within a labyrinth of cobbled streets and is home to some bizarre attractions.
The Czech Republic is a country I would love to explore more. If you have any recommendations of places to visit, please do get in touch.
