Hoi An is one of the most picturesque towns in Vietnam. It attracts visitors from all over the globe. These are the best hostels in Hoi An.
When we were looking for a place to stay in Hoi An, we found that the cheaper accommodation was on one of the small islands that connect to the main town. We were a bit concerned that we would be too far out of the main centre. However, our homestay was only a 10 minute walk to the main town and the homestay offered free bikes. Don’t be put off from staying on one of the smaller islands.

Homeland River Homestay
Hoi An is a very touristy place and offers accommodation for all budgets. We had decided to stay in a homestay called ‘Homeland River’ (map). This is located on the Cam Nam island. It offered basic but comfortable rooms for a low price. It was a little out of the way but there were one or two bars and restaurants on the island and the homestay offered free bicycles. The family were really nice and welcoming and I would definitely recommend this to anyone on a budget.
